About Me
I'm Shy… and trust me, I'm not shy.
It's just a name. That's exactly why I adopted the phrase "Shy Not Shy" because it represents confidence, individuality, and unapologetically being yourself.
Born and raised in New Orleans, my journey into the modeling world started at just 13 years old. Back then, there wasn't a tattoo in sight — just a young girl with oversized dreams, heels a little too high, and an undeniable passion for fashion, creativity, and self-expression. I trained in print and runway through professional modeling workshops, and from the very beginning, I knew this world was meant for me.
Fast forward to my college years in Atlanta, where I majored in Fashion Design and Business Administration because I believed a vision without a plan is just a dream. While balancing school, I walked runways, entered modeling competitions, and consistently made my mark — winning contests and catching the attention of multiple modeling agencies that wanted to sign me and take me on the road. As exciting as those opportunities were, I chose to finish school first while continuing to model locally. The industry could wait. My foundation came first. Then life shifted. I became a mother, stepped away from modeling for a while, and unknowingly stepped deeper into myself.
Back then, tattoos in the modeling industry were often frowned upon. Models were expected to hide them, cover them, and fit into traditional beauty standards. But for me, tattoos were never just ink. They are art. They are self-expression. They are healing. Every tattoo tells a story — a specific chapter of my life. My body became a timeline of my experiences, growth, pain, lessons, evolution, and rebirth. Every piece carries energy, meaning, and memories connected to moments that shaped me into the woman I am today. Every tattoo session became more than an appointment — it became therapy, creativity, healing, and a whole vibe.
A few years later, I returned home to New Orleans and slowly stepped back into the industry through local runway shows, motion film work, and music video appearances. The moment I got back in front of the camera, everything clicked again. But this time, I wasn't trying to fit into the industry — I was showing up fully as myself. And the industry had evolved too.
Tattoo culture was rising. What I once had to hide had now become my identity, my brand, and my superpower. Tattoo magazines started reaching out for features and collaborations, and the same ink that once made me "different" became the reason people remembered me.
Since then, I've been featured in nine tattoo magazines, collaborated with tattoo-related brands, and launched my own tattoo model merchandise line. My journey has never just been about modeling — it's been about reinvention, authenticity, confidence, and embracing every version of myself unapologetically. From runway model… to tattoo model… to creative entrepreneur… I've learned that the things that once made us stand out are often the very things that make us unforgettable.
Shy Not Shy.
More than a name — it's a lifestyle, an energy, and a reminder to own every part of who you are.
